Advanced Urgent Care is looking for Medical Assistants, EMTs, and LPNs to join our Key West facility. Full-time or part-time.
- Candidates must have 1-2 years of ER or ICU experience.
- Must be able to work efficiently with a pleasant demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Assist with exams and procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations.
- Assist with coding and billing processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and accurately document patient information.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Take and record vital signs accurately.
- Excellent patient service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients.
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling and record keeping.
- Experience or certification in X-Ray procedures is a plus.
- Basic life support certification is required.
- Knowledge of coding processes and ability to accurately document medical information.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to ensure accurate communication within the healthcare team
- Competence in medication administration, including proper dosage calculations and administration techniques.

- Maintains appropriate staffing to meet minimum requirements for efficient patient throughput and creates a monthly schedule.
- Holds up to date records of employee certifications and mandatory training.
- Evaluates staff performance and initiates disciplinary action for misconduct.
Department Management
- Monitors medical equipment and medication caches, ordering as needed.
- Oversees implementation of service lines and addresses deficiencies.
- Establishes daily work flow routines and monitors for staff compliance.
Organizational Development
- Develops and implements plans to enhance adherence to operational standards.
- Contributes to policy and procedure meetings.
- Provides reports on productivity, patient care, and customer service metrics.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Exemplify AUC standards of professional conduct.
- Demonstrate reliable leadership and team management strategies. 3. Maintain respectful communication with staff, patients, and external stakeholders. 4. Applies critical thinking to prioritization and task execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Florida RN license, BSN preferred.
- Current BLS certification, ACLS certification strongly encouraged.
- Minimum 3 years of acute care experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare management.

- We are looking for a CT / X-ray / Ultrasound Technologist! Ideally, one candidate who can perform all three. However, one or two of three roles should still apply.
- Full-time job (part-time if necessary).
- Should be able to perform general and cardiovascular studies.
- Must be ARRT registered in Radiology and Cat Scan RT (R) (CT) with at least 3 years experience along with current CPR certification.
- Multi-tasking, computer skills, good patient care skills, and communication with physicians a must. Must be able to work independently.
