CT Scan
Computerized tomography (CT) provides a series of digital images of the body from various angles, so that cross sections of the bones and soft tissue may be examined. CT scans can be incredibly useful in locating internal injuries or bleeding, finding subtle bone breaks, and in diagnosing serious abdominal problems such as appendicitis, diverticulitis, or bowel blockages.
At AUC Key West and Key Largo, our hospital-grade, 64-slice CT Scanners provide superior studies compared with other scanners because they present images of blood flow in arteries and veins. This feature allows our doctors to find blockages, blood clots, and aneurysms with impeccable accuracy. Our 64-slice scanners also enable us to conduct Lung Cancer Screenings at both locations, as well as Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring in Key West.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please see below for preparation instructions for CT scans.

Digital X-ray
Digital X-ray is a form of imaging where sensors are used to look for complications inside the body.
With digital technology, there’s no chemical processing of the film, which saves time, reduces cost, and is better for the environment. Just like your digital camera, these x-rays allow medical professionals to enlarge and enhance the images– providing you with a more reliable and accurate diagnosis. Your studies can then be easily transmitted to a disc for review by a radiologist or other physician.
Digital X-rays are available at all three Advanced Urgent Care locations.
Please see below for preparation instructions for X-rays.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is an imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce precise images of your interior body. The real-time 2D images produced during an Ultrasound examination can provide crucial information during pregnancy, but is also used for diagnosing a variety of conditions including gallbladder disease, kidney disease, and gynecologic problems. One important advantage of Ultrasound is that it does not involve exposure to radiation.
PLEASE NOTE:

PLEASE NOTE:
