Meet the Doctors

Dr. David Erlandson was born in Hartford Connecticut, graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford.  He began his work as an emergency physician immediately following his residency, and has continued practicing for the past 30 years. Dr. Erlandson moved to Key West in 1992 and worked at Lower Keys Medical Center prior to joining AUC. 




Dr. Kris Bly grew up in Evansville, Indiana, and completed her internship at Westview Hospital in Indianapolis, followed by her residency at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was a partner in Unity Physician Group for 10 years, and certified in emergency medicine by the American Osteopathic Board in 2000. In 2008, Dr. Bly and her family moved to Key West to open a unique house call medical service, providing urgent and non-emergent medical services to vacationers and locals alike. She returned to the ER scene in 2010, working at Fisherman’s Hospital in Marathon, and then the Lower Keys Medical Center ER in Key West.



Dr. Steven Eccher was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia receiving is medical degree in 1979. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, ACLS, PALS and ATLS. He moved to Key West in 1982, and worked at Lower Keys Medical Center for several years before joining Advanced Urgent Care.
