Lung Cancer Screening

For Lung Cancer Screenings, a low-dose CT scan is used to create pictures of the lungs in order to assess the patient’s risk of lung cancer.

Screenings are especially useful for current smokers over the age of 55, or those who have a history of heavy smoking and quit within the last 15 years. (Note: Heavy smoking is defined as a pack a day for 30 + years or an equivalent number).

At AUC, we offer Lung Cancer Screenings for $299 (cash price). The study may also be covered by insurance, and in some cases, insurance companies may waive the copay. Check with your doctor or insurance company to see if this is a covered service.
